Best way to set height of control

I have an aspx which has the splitter control on it.  When I try to add a panel above or

below the splitter I can not get the entire height of the page available.  The spliter and panel get scrunched into the upper 1/4 of the page.

I have seen in discussion that height % will not work, so what do you suggest to use inorder to get other controls on the page and apportion them correctly.

The SplitterPanel was designed to take up the entire page and placing it with another panel type on the same level won't work with this version (it would be a nice enhancement though).

However, you can make room for something else, like a header, at the top of the page by shifting the whole SplitterPanel down by x number of pixels. To do this, set the "top" CSS property in the SplitterPanel's top level to something grater than 0.
